Hello! My name is Nancy “Jane” Lopez, and I’m on a journey exploring life in – you’ll never guess – the Single Rider Lane! I love theme parks, roller coasters, lazy rivers, and unusually large sunglasses. I’m that person in line humming the theme song and spouting random facts about how fast the ride is or how the animatronics move. I am fascinated by engineering and how things works, especially my favorite rides. As much as I love engineering, my forte has always been English and Literature. This passion project is a combination of my favorite things – the written word and amusement engineering.
I’m also a HUGE nerd (I’m sure you figured that out by now…)! Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, LoTR, Skyrim – you name it, I probably have a Funko for it. I also dabble in photography, gaming, and copycat cooking.
Professionally, I am a Technical Writer working as an Instructional Designer and Learning Developer in the aerospace industry.
